Intro to Asking for Money

There are only two resources: time and money.

Volunteering is the way we use the resource of time. For whatever reason, most people don't have a problem asking people to volunteer. Fundraising is the way we use the resource of money. For whatever reason, almost everyone has trouble asking for money.

Some people have more time, some people have more money. That's why it's important to remember that fundraising isn't begging. It's the same as asking someone to come knock on doors or to attend a volunteer day.

That process of sitting down to ask people money is called "calltime".
